1971 : Roche Bobois invented, with the complicity of the designer Hans Hopfer, a 'new way of sitting', creating the famous sofa Lounge, becoming later Mah-Jong. A model that is still today, after 40 years, icon of versatility and comfort low.
Since then the Maison has never ceased to imagine, in collaboration with famous designers and emerging new models of aesthetic and conceptual session, focused around the theme of the sofa (product icon collections Roche Bobois).
